Sunset on the Shore

Come join us at The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence Foundation's annual Sunset on the Shore on May 17th!  Sunset on the Shore is an annual fund raiser in support of people with disabilities supported by the agency. The event is at The 1000 Island Harbor Hotel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts, silent auction and live music by Gary Walts! THE ARC JEFFERSON – ST. LAWRENCE HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING AND HONORS ACHIEVEMENTS

The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence (www.thearcjslc.org), recently held their Annual Meeting to elect officers and set terms for the Board of Directors, as well as honor employees, volunteers, and individuals supported by the agency. The 2025 elected officers for The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence Board of Directors are as follows: Jackie Sauter, President; Jennifer VanReenen, Vice President; and Shawn Signor, Secretary/Treasurer.

Join The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence Foundation for the Autism Acceptance Walk on Saturday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at SUNY Canton’s Roos House. Registration starts at 9. This free, family-friendly event is packed with fun—games, prizes, and a brand-new superhero photo booth. Suit up for the flag and costume contests and show off your superpowers! Don’t miss it!

THE ARC JEFFERSON – ST. LAWRENCE FOUNDATION RECEIVES GENEROUS DONATION FROM JEFFERSON – LEWIS BOARD OF REALTORS®

The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence Foundation (www.thearcjslc.org), is proud to announce that it was selected as a beneficiary of the 3rd Annual Jefferson – Lewis Board of REALTORS® Charity Golf Tournament that was held in August at Highland Meadows Golf Course. The event raised over $6,000, with each of the two benefiting organizations, The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence Foundation and the SoZo Teen Center, receiving $3,000.

NATHAN RHEOME HONORED AS OUTSTANDING PERFORMER

In honor of October’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month, The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence (www.thearcjslc.org), announced that Nathan Rheome was awarded the distinction of “William B. Joslin Outstanding Performer,” from the New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc. (NYSID.)
