The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence (www.thearcjslc.org) has renamed the business division of the agency and it will become, “The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence Enterprises” as an innovative approach to increase work options for people with disabilities. This change coincides with Lynn Pietroski’s transition to Chief Executive Officer and Tara Carr’s move to the new Chief Operating Officer.

The JRC Foundation, Inc. and The Foundation of St. Lawrence NYSARC announced today that the organizations have consolidated to become The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence Foundation and will begin doing business under this name effective immediately. The Board of Directors from JRC Foundation and The Foundation of St. Lawrence NYSARC joined forces more than a year ago to conduct an extensive due diligence process, culminating in the name change.

The Arc Jefferson-St. Lawrence (www.thearcjslc.org), a not-for-profit organization supporting people with disabilities in Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties, has been awarded $99,000 in grants from the Trustee Management Board of NYSARC Trust Services to support The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence’s guardianship and recreation programs.

The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence (www.thearcjslc.org) announced that Ed Duryea is the recipient of The Arc New York’s Self-Advocate of the Year Award and Sabrina Bushey received an Honorable Mention for the Thomas A. Maul Direct Support Professional Excellence Award. These awards were presented during the State-wide, virtual annual meeting held this Fall.
