The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence Foundation (www.thearcjslc.org), is proud to announce that it was selected as a beneficiary of the 3rd Annual Jefferson - Lewis Board of REALTORS® Charity Golf Tournament that was held in August at Highland Meadows Golf Course. The event raised over $6,000, with each of the two benefiting organizations, The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence Foundation and the SoZo Teen Center, receiving $3,000.
“We are incredibly thankful to have been chosen as a recipient of this wonderful tournament,” stated Michelle Carpenter, Executive Director of The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence Foundation. “The generosity of the sponsors and participants truly made this event a success. The funds will be dedicated to enhancing the playground at our Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center, providing vital play opportunities for children of all abilities.”
Lance Evans, Executive Officer of the Jefferson - Lewis Board of REALTORS®, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “REALTORS® takes great pride in making a meaningful impact in our community through this event and others like it. Supporting organizations like The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence Foundation is vital to enhancing the quality of life for residents across the North Country.”
Recently, Mr. Evans and Diane Mullen of Bridgeview Real Estate, who organized the tournament, presented the check to Mrs. Carpenter at the Bright Beginnings facility.
